Knights Varsity girls had a stellar week of volleyball, taking 2 out of 3 matches. To bring our record to 4-4. They started on Monday playing a tough one at Oyster River. It was an incredible match witnessed by all in attendance, the best ball played this season although Losing 3 sets to 1. It is clear the girls are finding their groove and working as a team. Regardless of the loss we gained the confidence that this team can play ball! Ally Caulkins had a tremendous game in the middle with 4 blocks and three kills, Liz McLaughlin connected for 8 straight serves to tie the game and put us into the lead 23-21, but we didn't hold on to take it to the final set.... On Wednesday we traveled to Plymouth-on the road again! The consistency of serves, defense and hitting earned us the win. Courtney Drew had a great game and was killing it on the right side with 5 kills, And Marie Luckern, crushing a hard driving ball down the middle with authority! It's a great feeling to win in Plymouth! Onto Portsmouth on Friday and it was a sweep! The defense stepped it up and everyone played smart ball, locking up the win. Michelle Frady, did a great job setting and controlling the offense. Liz McLaughlin was instrumental in the win with her strong serves and smart use of the court when hitting. Haley Bridgman had 5 blocks and 4 kills and had quite the game. This team has been bringing it at practice and deserves these wins. We are gaining momentum each game, and will keep working one game at a time! Next up is Laconia on Monday. See you all on the court!

What a great morning for a 5k race! I want to thank all the people who joined our team in representing the Kingswood Team!! Over 2000 registered runners for this event and is one of the larger in the state. This is such a great contribution for a worthy cause. To give forth a little and spend a short amount of time is what makes you feel so good inside of our accomplishement . I am truly proud of the whole Kingswood Community in stepping forward at this race. And seeing so many faces from paths we have crossed before and raising the funds for such a great cause. Thank you so much everyone and my members of the volleyball program. We will be back next year! Thank you!!! Coach Koehler

For the first time in Kingswood history, the Varsity girls beat Gilford Eagles 3-1 in an exciting match of never-ending volleyball action. The Kingwood Team led by players Michelle Frady, Liz McLaughlin, Haley , Bridgeman and Marie Luckern played a tremendous game in the big victory. The relentless attack and stellar defense this evening gave the team exactly what was needed to win. This was truly a night not ever to be forgotten by this years team. Kingswood came out strong and won the first 2 games by the scores of 25-20 and 25-16. Gilford claimed game 3 by the score of 15-25. In the fourth set trailing 10-15, Kingswood climbed back point by point to tie the game, and Liz McLaughlin was the hero putting away the crushing shot to end the match with the score of 25-23. Heartstomping, Unbelievable but very believable by the way this team is playing! It was a great night of volleyball and truly a great test and victory for the Knights.
