The Kingswood Girls Tennis Team beat Bishop Brady 6-3 Thursday, May 16th at Memorial Field in Concord.  After splitting the singles, the Lady Knights swept the doubles.  The weather was variable with warmth when the sun appeared and then cold when the showers began.  Co-captains Maddie Ward and Grace Saunders dropped their #1 and #2 singles.  Emily Carpenter, Anna Mansfield, and Danielle Schillereff all won at singles in the #3,#4, and #5 spots.  #6 Hannah Crane lost her singles set.  The co-captains made up for their singles sets by taking the #1 doubles to a tiebreaker and winning that 7-4.   This match kept the post season team tournament playoff hopes alive bringing the team record to 7-6.  The team is currently in 8th place and only the top 8 of the 17 schools in the division make it to the quarterfinals of the team tournament.  A win against 7th place Goffstown scheduled for Friday, May 17th would put the team in 7th place for the season.  Here are all the match details:
