The Kingswood Girls Tennis Team hosted Windham today, Friday May 12th, at Foss Field. The Knights put up a good fight against 3rd place Windham but came up short 2 to 7.
At #1 singles senior co-captain Jasper Shapiro lost 3-8.
At #2 singles junior Kara Phu lost 3-8.
At #3 singles junior Marina Eneeva won 8-6
At #4 singles senior co-captain Brooke Seigars lost 2-8.
At #5 singles junior Rebecca Coache lost 2-8.
At #6 singles sophomore Danielle Schillereff lost 0-8.
At #1 doubles Shapiro and Seigars lost 0-8.
At #2 doubles Phu and Eneeva won 8-3
At #3 doubles Coache and Schillereff lost 1-8
The team will continue a suspended match against Plymouth at home. Kingswood is up 3-1. When that match is decided, Kingswood will host its scheduled match against Plymouth. Monday is senior night. Co-captains Jasper Shapiro and Brooke Seigars will be honored in their final regular season home match of their high school career.
