Girls Varsity Tennis vs. Plymouth Regional HS School

The Kingswood Girls Tennis Team was beating Plymouth 3-1 when the match was suspended for rain yesterday, Wednesday, April 19th at Plymouth. The match will be completed Monday May 15th when Plymouth travels to Kingswood for the Knights' final home match of the season. That date is also the senior celebration for Jasper Shapiro and Brooke Seigars.

At #1 senior co-captain Jasper Shapiro came from behind to beat Plymouth's #1 8 - 5.

At #2 junior Kara Phu also won her set 8-5.

At #3 junior Marina Eneeva played a long set winning 8-6.

At #4 senior co-captain Brooke Seigars lost a close set 5-8.

At #5 sophomore Danielle Schillereff will resume play down 2-6. Plymouth serves next.

At #6 junior Rebecca Coache will resume play down 1-2. Kingswood serves next.

At #1 doubles Shapiro and Seigars will resume play down 0-1. Plymouth serves next.

The #2 doubles has not yet started. Plymouth will be making a direct line substitution in their #2 doubles team. The rest of the submitted lineup will remain unchanged.

It is not safe to continue tennis matches when the surface becomes slippery.

The team will travel to the indoor courts at Great Bay in Newmarket where Coe-Brown will host Friday afternoon, April 21st.
