It was a tough game for the Kingswood Lady Soccer Players at Kennett on Tuesday, October 4th. It was a close game with Kennett early in the season losing 3 to 1. The Knights were hopeful for another close game and possibly a second win for the season.

At the 6 minute mark Eagle Nina Badger kicked a 30 yard knuckle ball that just dropped over Kingswood Keeper Sarah Harrigan's head. Two minutes later she repeated the exact same shot and scored again. Two minutes later the Kennett attack crashed the goal after Harrigan deflected a corner kick back into play scoring their #3 goal. Two more goals in the next 8 minutes lopsided the score to 5-0. At 33 minutes a Knight attempt at using the Kingswood keeper as back help was intercepted and converted. The final goal of the half resulted from an uncovered Eagle on the weak side who converted a cross.

The Eagles added one more goal during the second half with a shot to the far side which dropped over the goal keeper's head.

The Knights had many opportunities to score with 23 shots on goal. The back of the net proved too elusive for the Knights in this game.
