Senior standout Sam Barton completed Saturday what he started on Thursday, firing a 75 to beat Phin Choukas and the field during the 2017 Division II Individual State Championship. Phin made an early run, getting to within 2 strokes of the lead during the first 3 holes. Sam made an amazing par on the 5th to take control of the match. He played solid all the way in, making 6 pars in a row, a birdie and another par between holes 9 and 16 to solidify the lead. Great job Sam! Kingswood is so proud.
