The Kingswood Golf Team finished in 6th place during the Division II State Championship on Thursday. Sam Barton continued his strong play firing a +1 73. Sam had 3 bogies and 2 birdies to go along with 13 pars as he worked his way around Rochester Country Club. With the strong round Sam made the cut for the Individual State Championship. The final round will be played at Rochester Country Club Saturday with Sam teeing off at 11:12 AM.
Helping Kingswood score a combined 453 were Jacob Jensen (92), Chris Nelson (95), Curtis Heath (95), and Davis Ekstrom (98).
The coaching staff would again like to thank the players and parents for their continued support during a successful 2017 season.
