The golf team traveled to Stonebridge Country Club on Wednesday. They were able to leave with a 2-1 record on the day. Kingswood (207) lost to host team Goffstown (204), but was able to beat Kennett (216) and Hollis-Brookline (222). Several Knights had key rounds. Sam Barton shot a team leading 37. Jacob Jensen had 6 pars to go with 3 bogies for a 38. Chris Nelson birdied the par 4 5th hole which helped him post a 39. Freshman Davis Ekstrom played great all day and carded a 43. Rounding out the scoring for the nights was Erick Skelley with a 50. Kingswood’s record for the season improved to 6-3. The Knights have three key matches next week. The first comes Monday when the team travels to Angus Lea.
