Our girls played and excellent game against Con-Val in our home opener. We jumped out to a 23-7 first quarter lead led by Liz McLaughlin and Michelle Frady with 10 and 7 points, respectively. Con-Val played a good second quarter, outscoring us 18 to 6 in the second, closing the gap at halftime to 29-25. The Knights regrouped for the second half and outscored the visitors 24-18 and boosted our record to 2-1 in the early part of our season. Liz (30 points, 4 - 3 pointers) and Michelle (13 points) led the team in scoring while Eliza Brault had 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals, Meghan Lapar had 4 steals. Good win.
