The girl's indoor track team had a successful day on Saturday at the Plymouth State University's new indoor facility.  The girls finished 3rd overall scoring 29 points.

Eileen McKenna competed in 3 events scoring 13 points.  She finished 1st in the long jump with a distance of 14' 2.5", 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 10.11 and, as part of the 4 x 400 meter relay team, they crossed the finish line with a time of 4:50.33 taking 3rd place. Also running on the 4 x 400 meter relay team were Hannah Chatigny, Mariah Craigue and Mary Peternel.

Also scoring inn the 55 meter hurdles were Hannah, who finished 5th with a time of 10.65, followed closely by Lianne Zhuang who finished 6th with a time of 10.80.

Mariah Craigue also competed in the 55 meter dash in 4th place with a time of 8.03 seconds and she was part of the 4 x 200 meter relay team.  With the help of Olivia Chasse, Liz Morrison and Lianne Zhuang they took 5th place with a time of 2:08.10.

The boys indoor track team finished in 8th place overall with a score of 11 points, only 2 points out of 7th place and 3 points out of 6th place.

Scoring for the boys with 3rd place finishes in their events were Owen Gwizdala in the 1500 meter finishing in a time of 4:37.35 and Mike Kelley in the shot put throwing for a distance of 39' 8", only 4" short of the qualifying mark for the State Meet. Also scoring with a 6th place finish was Sheldon Billings in the 300 meter run with a time of 41.99.  Sheldon was also part of the 4 x 200 meter relay team along with Mike Kelley, Brian Winn and Jaden Thomas.  They took a 6th place finish with a time of 1:49.85.

The next meet will be Sunday, January 15th, at 12:00 at UNH.
