At Pelham on Saturday, April 15th, the boys team tied for 4th place with 33 points and the girls clinched 6th place with 32.5 points. Three more athletes qualified provisionally for the state meet: Jess Distler in the javelin with a distance of 88' 8", Owen Gwizdala in the 1600M with a time of 4:47.50, and Ryan Willette in the triple jump with a distance of 37' 10". Two athletes qualified in a second event; Caitlin Carpenter in the long jump with a distance of 15' 3.5" and Isaac Sheahan in the 300M hurdles with a time of 45.90.
Scoring points for the boys were Jack Dales who took a second place in the high jump with a height of 5' 8", Owen took a 3rd place finish in the 800M finishing in a time of 2:09.51, fourth place finished were had by Isaac in the 110M hurdles in a time of 17.47, Jake Dearborn in the shot put with a distance of 39' 9", Isaac in the 300M hurdles with a time of 45.90 and the 4x800M relay team consisting of Brent Coope, Brodie Deshaies, Wyatt Pooler and Charlie Arinello finishing at 8:53.81.Rounding out the scoring for the boys taking 6th place finishes were Owen in the 1600M, Ryan in the triple jump, Jake in the discus with a distance of 110' 7", Wyatt in the 3200M with a time of 10:54.26, Randy Willette in the javelin with a distance of 135' 1" and the 4x100M relay team with Denver Bourgault, Nick Baston, Tucker Gosselin and Jim Huckman running a time of 48.44
Scoring for the girl's team were Caitlin in the long jump taking first place and taking a second place in the triple jump with a distance of 32' 8", the 4x400M relay team finished in third place with Caitlin, Hannah Chatigny, Sarah Huckman, and Eileen McKenna running at 4:28.96, finishing with a 4th place time of 51.97 was Eileen in the 300M hurdles and she also took a 5th place finish in the 100M hurdles with a time of 17.94 and taking 6th place finishes were Hannah in the 300M hurdles in 52.73 and with a time on 17.98 in the 100M hurdles as well as Joie Milbourn who threw the shot put a distance of 31' 9.5".
