WOLFEBORO — The Kennett and Kingswood field hockey teams have seen a lot of close games over the last few years.
But on Tuesday, Sept. 6, the Eagles not at their best and the Knights playing their best led to a little more of a lopsided game than the two teams have been used to.
“I love scoring goals,” said Kingswood coach Kaitlin Reilly, noting her team has traditionally struggled to score over the last few years. “It’s something we’ve worked hard to develop.
“This group has worked hard to take what we’ve practices and apply it in games,” Reilly added.
“We kind of fell apart as soon as they got those first two goals,” said Kennett coach Cassandra Johansen. “They were very good goals.
“That’s the best I’ve seen them (Kingswood) play in the last three years,” Johansen added.
