CoEd Middle School XC Skiing vs. Lebanon Junior HS School

The good news is that our middle school girls came in first out of 3 schools with 292 points. Strafford was second with 193. Lebanon was last with 100. Ginger Plache placed 2nd out of 6 finishers in 12:16. Marcella DeNitto placed 3rd in 13:28. Reagan Blanchet finished the scoring for the team in 22:01 (6th).

More good news: the Kingswood Middle School Boys placed first out of 5 schools. (Kingswood 281, Strafford 197, Lebanon 191, Souhegan 100 and Hanover 95)

Jackson Boudman placed 5th out of 9 finishers in 11:58. Robbie Hotchkiss placed 8th in 13:45. Aidan Thompson finished the scoring coming in 9th in 18:31.

The middle school race was 2.7 km. The high school race was 5.4 km.

The Kingswood high school boys came in 3rd out of 4 teams (Lebanon and Hanover tied with 385, Lebanon won the tiebreaker having 1:11 less in total time for the top 4). Kingswood had 363 to Souhegan's 176.

Jim Huckman was first for the Knights in 9th place out of 20 finishers in 19:35. Axel Plache finished in 10th place in 19:41. Adam Richardson placed 12th in 20:45. David Sandoval finished the scoring in 17th place in 23:28. Devin Holt finished in 19th in 29:28.

The Kingswood high school girls were just edged out of second place by Lebanon. Hanover won with 384. Lebanon 376. Kingswood 374. Souhegan 175.

Sarah Huckman was first for the Knights finishing in 4th place out of 28 finishers in 21:22.

Sarah Bellefleur was in 6th place in 22:09.

Sarah Bean was in 9th place in 22:51.

Allison Bean was in 12th place in 24:22.

Carolyn Day in 18th place in 28:05

Rosemary Carpenter in 20th place in 28:47

Sarah Carpenter in 22nd place in 29:01

Liz Morrison in 24th place in 29:15.

The team travels to the first of the two NH Series races on Saturday, Feb 3rd. It will be held at Whitaker Woods in North Conway.

The team will host a meet at Abenaki on Tuesday, February 6th. This will be a 3 round classical sprint.
