SOMERSWORTH HIGH SCHOOL: 1
JV Volleyball comes from behind after losing first set to win match by taking the next 2 sets consecutively against Somersworth HS. The Knights lost first set 27 to 25. Then in the second set the Knights won 25-17. The third and decisive set had the Knights at 15 and the Hilltoppers at 3. It was a battle that saw many lead changes but the Knights recommited at the service line and good passing prevailed in their victory at the end. In the final game Emma Hammond had some great serving as well as Sophia Emery with the final point scored by Serena Silva. Tonights victory moves the team to 5 wins on the season. Next and final home match set for Wednesday against Laconia with the final day of play set for Saturday October 21 at Gilford for the annual Division II JV tourney starting at 830 am.
