For a 6th time in a row the JV Volleyball Lady Knights come away victorious against the bobcats of oyster river. The away match started with the Lady Knights falling behind early on by a few points. However Junior Maureena Eneeva stepped in and gave Kingswood the fuel it needed and rang up 4 quick service points from the line as well as Sophmore Schylar Mohan doing the same right after with 4 more herself. Sammy Hotchkiss had some timely plays at the net with some key blocking and her fellow sister Sara Hotchkiss complemented the effort with a few key attacks. When it was said and done the first game ended 25-20 Kingswood JV winning. Game 2 of set saw Sophmore Billie Joe Dumont and Junior Claire Richard dominating from the service line tallying 5 points a piece towards the effort. Freshman Emma Hammond pitched in with consistent defense and help setting. The second game ended 25-17 Kingswood JV victorious. The third and final game saw Freshman  Maddie Ward running the offense as setter and along with Junior  Alissa Baldwin's great passes the lady Knights did some fairly quick work of the Bobcats. Final of set was 15-9, Kingswood JV victorious and a complete sweep of Bobcats. The JV Volleyball lady Knights now move to 6 wins and 0 losses on the season remaining the team to beat in the league. Our next match will find the lady Knights traveling to Plymouth High school  on Wednesday September 21 for the next battle. Thanks for the continued support friends family and athletes.
