For a 5th consectutive time the JV volleyball lady Knights rolled to victory remaining undefeated on the year so far. This time was against fellow league power St Thomas. The first game with Freshman Maddie Ward gettting a quick 6 service points from the service line and providing some timely assists as setter. As the game moved on St Thomas struck hard moving to a 11 to 7 lead. But after a well taken timeout, coach Silva was able to right the ship in time and with the help of great poise of Sophmore Schylar Mohan's 5 quick service points and timely attacks as well as Freshman Emma Hammond's timely passing and setting  the Lady Knights fought back to make it a new game and prevailed to a come from behind victory 25-21. Game 2 saw more intense play from the two teams. It was neck and neck early on. St Thomas pushed out ahead for a brief time but once again coach Silva held the line along with fantastic play from the service line by Freshman Allie Bellemore who tallied 7 straight service points from the service line and exhibited great court awareness making 2 attacks and 2 digs during that time. To finish off the game Sophmore Sophia Emery and and Sophmore Billie Joe Dumont contributed with great defense and offensive tact. Final Score game 2, 25-21. The third game saw great defensive play from Junior Cassidy downs making 3 timely defensive digs and chipping in 2 service points from the service line. Sophmore Christi Verrill had a great game registering a timely attack and Junior Allyson Gifford make a timely pass and served the game point sealing the game 3 for the Lady Knights. Final Score 15-10 Kingswood JV. With this match victory the JV Lady Knights now hold the number one position in league play being 5 wins and 0 Losses on the season. congrats to them.
