Exciting Match against Coe Brown from Northwood. Game 1 was a battle early in game KRHS was down and then stormed back to tie and loss at a margin of 25-23 to the Bears. However with a little settling patience and hard work the lady knights righted the ship and came away with a hard fought win in game 2 , 25-13. Having forced a 3rd and decisive game to decide the match the lady knights finished off the bears 15-10 in style resulting in quite the comeback to win the JV match. Some great contributors on both Offense and Defense included the stellar performance of Alyssa Baldwin during the 3rd game with great passing and serving to finish the bears off. Claire Richard was instrumental in all 3 games with a steady performance playing defense whenever called upon as well as contributing lots from the service line with a steady and strong serve. Honorable mention also to the Freshman Maddie Ward for her debut as team leader and setter doing a fantastic job orchestrating the offense in fashion. Sophmore Sammy Hotchkiss also really showed great hustle and strong play at middle hitter. Congrats to the entire team on a great first match and victory from coach Silva. The next match is away as the lady knights travel to Hanover NH. Our next home match is scheduled to be Wednesday September 14th against Kennett High school.
