The Kingswood Girls Soccer Team lost at Plymouth Tuesday, September 6th by a score of 7 to 2.
The Kingswood offense created several opportunities in the first half but had trouble converting attempts to find the back of the net.
The Kingswood defense needs to be tightened. Plymouth was able to penetrate the defense to score 5 times in the first half. Morgan deHaven was able to convert a corner kick late in the first half to bring the score to 5-1 at the half.
The Knights improved their performance in the second half, too little, too late. Nine minutes into the second half Mary Peternel scored from inside the 18, assisted by her sister Sarah Peternel. Plymouth was held to two goals in the second half.
Kingswood Keeper Sarah Harrigan made 23 saves.
