Boys Varsity Tennis vs. St. Thomas Aquinas HS School

Trailing 4-2 after singles play, the Kingswood boys' tennis team rallied to sweep doubles and emerge with a 5-4 win over St. Thomas. Noah Smith and Jake Merrill teamed at No. 1 doubles for an 8-5 win to start the comeback. Russell Lucia and Drew Connelly trailed 4-3 before winning the last five games for an 8-4 victory at second doubles that tied the match. Aaron Kust and Matt Horton let a 6-1 lead get away but took the last two games to pull out the clinching match 8-6 at third doubles. Lucia (8-2) and Kust (8-3) were the singles winners for the Knights (2-0) who host Kennett Friday at 4 pm.
