Russell Lucia and Aaron Kust held on for an 8-6 victory in second doubles yesterday in the Quarterfinal match against top-ranked Gilford. The eight-seeded Knights lost 8-1 to unbeaten Gilford. Lucia nearly got Kingswood another point before falling 9-7 at third singles.
"It was great to see how far the guys progressed this season," said Coach Steve Langevin. "Even those whose matches were not as close today played with great effort and made some excellent shots against elite competition."
